Kanji Romaji English Translation

Passing through many days and nights,
crossing over many oceans & islands,
he keeps searching for the true light.
His journey isn't over yet.

Stories and waves crash into the ship's hull.
He listens to the wind's continuous song beat the sails.
The voice within guides him,
as he takes the helm with hands burned by the salt water.

Searching for words of love hidden
in the metropolis where words have lost their meaning,
his voiceless voice sobs
as he walks a path of pitch darkness.

In a city where time has been lost,
he knows that sorrow of those who have died.
In temples where prayers are engraved,
he can hear the voice of things that lived long ago.

On an ivory beach at the end of the world,
on an island of everlasting afterglow,
inside a wasteland that even birds won't cross,
he sees a small flicker of life.

In a lonely sleep at night as the stars go down,
he dreams of the mountains of his distant hometown.

Those white peaks and black forests,
the childhood days when he ran up those heights,
campfire stories every night, every night,
the nostalgic face of a hermit.

Even though it's impossible to get back
those bright months and years,
don't feel sad about that.
His journey isn't over yet.
